Sama ke chawal ki kheer

Serves 4 persons

Ingredients & Method

Ingredients-

Sama ke chawal- 1/4 cup
Milk -1/2 litre
Sugar- 1/4 cup or as per your taste
Chopped dry fruits- 1/4 cup, cashew, kishmish, badam etc.
Cardamom powder- 1/4 tsp.

Method--

First wash the chawal & soak in waterfor 10 min.
Take a heavy bottom sauce pan, wash it & 
heat the milk in it, till it boils.
Now mix the chawal in milk.
Let it boil on slow fire stirring intermittently.

This chawal cooks very fast. In 10- 15 min. it will be cooked.

Mix the sugar & stir for a few minutes.
Mix the dry fruits & stir.
You will see that the kheer has thickened & is ready.

Lastly mix the cardamom powder & keep the kheer in a serving bowl.
Garnish it with finely sliced badam flakes.

Can be served hot or cold as you desire.
