Makhane, paneer ki vrat ki sabzi

Serves 4 persons

Ingredients & Method

Ingredients-
Makhana- 2cup cut into halves
Paneer cubes of  the same size as makhana- 3/4 cup
Curds- 1/4 cup
Cream/ malaayee- 1/4 cup
Ginger, chillies, cashew nut paste - 1" piece ginger & 1/2 green chillies &5-6 cashews
Black pepper- 4, Laung-1, both coarsely ground
Zeera- 1/3 tsp.
Salt- to your taste
Olive oil/ refined oil/ghee-- 2 tbsp.
Green coriander for garnish

Method --

Soak paneer pieces in salted water before hand.
Roast makhana well in 1tbsp. oil in a pan. Keep aside.
Heat remaining oil. Put black pepper, laung, zeera chhaunk in hot oil.
Put the paste of ginger chilli cashew & roast a little.
Mix roasted makhana & paneer & salt to taste. Stir for a minute.
Mix some water. Let it boil for 2/3 min. Makhana will become soft.
In the end mix curd cream mixture. Let it boil for 3/4 times. 
Switch of the gas, garnish with coriander & serve.
